Optiparts Double tapered Main sheet (EX1379)
Double tapered mainsheet. This sheet is 1/4" on the ends and 3/8" in the middle. The double tapered mainsheet is ideal for Optimist sailors because: 1) Smaller hands can pull in and ditch the 1/4" tapered end quicker. 2) The rigging weighs less. 3) The smaller diameter line reduces the friction in the blocks, therefore less force is needed to pull in the sheet. 4) The McLaughlin double tapered mainsheet has a trigger snap sewn and whipped on one end, for easier rigging. 5) These lines feature excellent abrasion resistance, low stretch and top-quality materials from selected suppliers.
